Government Subsidies
Buckets Early Learning Centre is registered as an approved childcare service provider under the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations. This enables you to access financial support via the Child Care Benefit (CCB) and/or Child Care Rebate (CCR).
Child Care Benefit

CCB is a payment from the Australian Government that helps you with the cost of childcare.
To be eligible for CCB you must:
- meet Australian residency requirements
- have the childcare provided in an approved or registered service
- ensure your child complies with immunisation requirements or has an exemption
- be liable (or your partner must be liable) to pay for this child care.
The amount of CCB you may receive depends on:
- your income
- the type of care you use (approved or registered)
- the amount of care you use
- whether you pass the work, training, study test
- the number of children you have in care.

Child Care Rebate
CCR is a payment from the Australian Government that covers up to 50% of out-of-pocket childcare expenses up to a maximum $7,500 per child per year in addition to any amount you may receive from Child Care Benefit and Jobs, Education and Training (JET) Child Care Fee Assistance.
To be eligible for CCR:
- you must use a Child Care Benefit approved child care service
- you must be eligible for Child Care Benefit for approved care, even if you earn too much to receive payment
- you and your partner must meet the Work, Training, Study test or are exempt from it.
